Startled out of a dream so real
Chasing your demons, looking for answers
Is there anybody awake beside you
Or all of them got involved?
Where to run from
This madness that grows around you
Helpless, fatigued
Crushed your hopes and lost your senses
Keep on pulling my strings as you wish
I will play along for a while
But soon I'm on the edge of madness
You'll regret the way you lived your life
Leave me with no choice I'll take my chance
No empty threats
Just a momentary lapse of sanity
Startled out of a dream so real
Chasing my demons, looking for answers
Is there anybody awake beside me
Or all of you got involved?
The walls are closing in on me
As I try to avoid the inevitable
Don't blame me you went over the line
In the nick of time got it unleashed
Where to run from
This madness that grows around you
Helpless, fatigued
Crushed your hopes and lost your senses
Stay away from this decayed circle
Flee before it all crumbles down
what seemed to be an endless struggle
Has become real for the ones at fault
Leave me with no choice I'll take my chance
No empty threats
Just a momentary lapse of sanity

Swiss Melodic Black / Death Metal. I never wrote anything about this & given that I listen to it time & again, I really should! This is incredibly technical & amazingy good! I am having multiple eargasms & goosebumps for the entire duration of the album! Plus they have a new album coming out in a couple of months that I cannot wait for! A criminally underrated band... Stortregn rule! Highly recommended!!! bmurator

Fractal Gates presents a very approachable and uncomplicated style of melodic death metal that is extremely affective. A constant stream of riffs and melodies that are catchy, infectious, and even fun. Some synthesizer elements give added depth too. Simply put this is a must check out release. 8/10 RJ
